Exploring our Natural Garden of Health

with 7Song

Dedicate this day to your continuing mastery of our medicinal plant world.

Sunday May 22nd 10 am – 5 pm  walk with, study, listen and experience the wisdom that internationally recognized teacher 7Song will bring to our mountain. If you have come to an Herb Fair or have enjoyed identifying our regional plants and their uses; then this is an intensive learning day for you.

We will start by walking our woodsy medicinal plant rich farm. We will discuss ethical wild-crafting, botanical identification, medicine preparation, and clinical uses of the plants we see. We will cover how to make accurate plant species identification by looking at various plant structures, family characteristics and how to use a technical plant guide.

The last part of the day will be spent discussing, preparing and understanding how to make a variety of plant medicines. We will briefly cover the basics and delve into the more complicated aspects of this skill.
